Welcome to Boost Yoga
Welcome to Boost Yoga!
I'm Sophie the founder of Boost Yoga and my aim is to create a community of parents, carers and educators, where we can share best practices regarding our children's health and wellbeing.
I am a qualified children's yoga and mindfulness practitioner and I am passionate about bringing children together to develop a healthy sense of self and learn strategies for emotional regulation, all whilst having fun too!
I have a degree in Health Psychology BSc, and graduated with my dissertation looking into ASD and the diagnostic and aftercare system. I continued to be interested in neurodiversity and worked as a support teacher for SEN students up until I had my children, where my love of yoga flourished and I decided to retrain as a children's yoga and mindfulness practitioner.
I am a single mum of two children, (2 and 4 years) and through this journey have realised the importance of building a support network and finding techniques that really work for regulating both parent and child, focusing on connection and understanding, and now would love to share these practices with the wider community.
I work under an enhanced DBS, Public Liability Insurance and Teaching Cert.
Our Sessions
Boost Yoga offers a variety of sessions tailored to different age groups to cater to the specific needs and interests of children and young people. From playful and energetic sessions for younger children to more focused and calming practices for teenagers, we have something for everyone.
Our sessions are divided into age-appropriate groups to ensure that the content and activities are suitable for each stage of development.
We offer sessions for toddlers & preschool, children 5-12 years and teenagers 13-18 years, with each group benefiting from specially designed yoga sequences and mindfulness practices.
All sessions are inclusive and focus on driving connection to ourselves, our peers and the world around us.
